May be later, but now I don`t earn a lot of moneys in hacking. I have another job. When I`ll be an pensioner - I'll become a real hacker :coolman:

I think - hacking it is not hobby or job or smth else, hacking it is life style. And it is my life style. I wanna be a political leader in my future, and I learn Social Engineering. But I don't learn it for my future job, I learn it because I like it, because it is interesting to find bugs in universal people brains, because it is my life style. Every 2nd day in the morning I go to http://sebug.net/bbs/ http://inj3ct0r.com/ http://www.social-engineer.org/ http://www.exploit-db.com/ and many Chinese bug date base. And I can't live without new bugs. every 3rd day in evening I try to hack or find bug on gov, edu sites or in interesting sites.

defaces!? I like defaces, but I like Shells more than defaces and it is better, I think=).

Yes, using the exploits and gaining illegal access to a site is technically "hacking" except it creates a few problems:
1) You become lazy, why try if the answer is already there?
2) You stunt your knowledge because you don't know what the code does.

Where if you did it yourself:
1) Hard work pays off...
2) You have the pride to say that was your exploit that you found.
3) You learn and build dendrites when you think

Hacking isn't going to help you be a political leader. If you want to be a political leader immerse yourself in academia rather than child's play.

There is little money to be made with hacking. Most hackers that have made a living form hacking have been caught and are now in prison.

As for the idea that hacking has become your lifestyle...
Sure your everyday actions can be influenced by what you do online but it is an unhealthy one. Spending most of your hours indoors on a machine is extremely stressful on the body. The chances of you becoming a professional hacker or anything along the lines of that is an extremely low chance.

Pen-testers make shit money, i couldn't imagine trying to make a living off of it.

I like make deface, but when I have made defaces - it shows 4 Admins, that there are BUGs.

Shells!? I don't think that -only SKs upload shells - it is useful.

SKs uses bugs, which was found by another hacker.
But I study/learn the CODE of exploit. Because I wanna create my own exploits. But now I'm not professional coder

If u will find SQL-inj, than if u will do steps which is known, will u be script kiddie!? I think, no u won't. Because u will know the steps, u will know how u must use sql-inj and u will know language -sql, etc.

1 - Lazy?! hm. If u only use foreign code - maybe.
2 - lol - I learn the code - 4 example - I don't know perl - But I try to understand code, and when I will start to learn perl, it will helps me.
